THE BHB PROCESS

THE END IS THE BEGINNING

Oddly enough, the end is the place to start! The entire process begins with you describing to Bridget exactly what you want to get out of this experience before your shoot even takes place. Sitting down with Bridget to envision everything, from the aesthetic of your photos, to how and where you want them displayed in your home, allows her to create a precious heirloom you and your loved ones can cherish for generations.

FRAMED ART - Our Hardwood Frames are proudly built by hand in Portland, OR. Your treasured images are printed on Premium Archival Matte Paper.

CANVAS - Each museum quality canvas piece is completely unique and 100% handmade in Washington state. Each canvas is printed on Kodak Endura paper which has a longevity of 100 years under normal conditions and 200 years under stored, controlled conditions. In addition, it is mounted on thick canvas and also add multiple layers of lacquer with UV protection, so you can feel confident that the canvas will last a lifetime.

FRAMED METAL - The high definition, vibrant colors of ChromaLuxe metal prints coupled with superior fade, moisture, stain, and scratch resistant properties make metal an excellent choice for fine art and home décor applications. ChromaLuxe photo panels and have gone through extensive fade resistance testing to compare it to the three leading archival photo papers in the market. ChromaLuxe lasts significantly longer than the three longest lasting photo papers so you can feel confident your metal prints will last for generations!

HEIRLOOM ALBUM - Each one is an original. They are custom designed and carefully crafted with fine with latest techniques in album design and artistry. They will be treasures for you to pass along to your family.

A consultation kicks off the BHB Process. We really want to get to know you and your family. Understanding your dynamics allows us to capture all of the personalities and relationships present, so that the end result realistically captures your lives.

SESSION

If you’ve had your family photographed before, you probably remember the road to getting the perfect photo isn’t always the smoothest.

One kid decided he’s absolutely not wearing the shirt you laid out for him, another didn’t sleep last night, a third overslept, and Dad has suddenly forgotten how to dress himself.

Not to worry, as an experienced child photographer, and mother herself, Bridget knows how to get a great shot out of those family members who are less than thrilled about having their photo taken in the first place.

REVEAL & ORDER

Approximately one week after your photo shoot, you will come to the studio for your Reveal and Order appointment. This appointment is the time set aside to finalize your portrait order, so be sure to schedule a time when everyone who wants a say in the selection can be there.

Using our state-of-the-art software and photos of the walls in your home, you will see your portraits scaled right onto your walls, to make sure you know exactly what to order. Bridget is by your side every step of the way using your goals from the consultation to achieve your vision for your family portraits.
