This is a quick 15-20 session for someone that needs a quick profile picture.  You will receive a gallery with your proofs after the session and select one to be retouched and downloaded.  Additional retouched images are available for $59/image.

Below is a list of tips to help you make the most of your session.

When selecting an outfit, avoid patterns and keep it simple.  

For women, choose fitted, long sleeves for a flattering look. V-neck or wrapped tops are flattering on most women.  You can layer it under a jacket or cardigan.  Colors are fine and can flatter and enhance your skin tones, just avoid colors that are too bright and distract from your face.

For men, even if you are planning to have your photos taken from the chest up, your dress shirt should be tucked in for smooth lines.

Have chapstick or lip gloss on hand!  

Avoid wearing moisturizer or makeup with a SPF in it on the day of the shoot to avoid reflection with the studio lights.  Keep it light and natural and remember that it’s the eyes and mouth that the person viewing your photo will focus on.  If you’re susceptible to shiny skin consider bringing translucent powder which will reduce shine, make your skin look even and your pores look smaller. Avoid products with sparkles!  Please remember to arrive with your makeup complete. And if you like the idea of a professional makeup artist, you’re not alone! I often work with them and I can recommend a few options if you’d like to book one for the shoot.

If you usually wear glasses, decide whether you’d like to wear them in your portrait. If you aren’t going to wear them, or aren’t sure, take them off around 15 minutes before. This will allow enough time for the red marks on your nose to disappear.
